Sarah Shewey, founder of Pink Cloud Events, a green event production company in Los Angeles, says brides and grooms are getting over misconceptions that a green wedding can't be big and fabulous. "We find that now more than last year, and definitely more than two years ago, people get really excited," she says. "There are more options now than there were before. There's more businesses that are popping up and offering eco-friendly services or highlighting the eco-friendly aspects they were doing before.

Hundreds of brides-to-be and their fiances, friends and family came to Goodwill's frist-ever Wedding Gala to pick out dresses at bargain prices early Saturday morning. Jason and Kit Shires (the couple that runs Quantum Music) came through for my wife and I in a big way. Jason was incredibly calm and professional, on the phone, during our pre-wedding meeting, and during the event itself. Bill and Mary Jane George celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with friends and family. The anniversary celebration was held on Feb. 21, 2010, and was hosted by the Higgins family. Out of town guests included relatives and friends from Montana, Arkansas, Wyoming, California, Washington, South Dakota and Arizona.

Jonathan and Jennifer Honeycutt exchanged vows Saturday at the Bass Pro Shop in Sevier County. The couple got engaged in August and immediately called the store to find out if they could use their backdrop to say "I do."
